Westering Primary School was founded in 1970 to serve the English speaking community of the Western Suburbs of Port Elizabeth. The school is conveniently situated, for easy access to the many extra-mural activities.

Westering school has grown into one of the leading primary schools in Port Elizabeth providing pupils with a balanced and meaningful education in a loving, caring, friendly and disciplined environment. We aim to provide a safe environment where each child can develop and mature to the best of their ability and in doing so achieve their potential.

The school offers a wide variety of extra-mural and sporting activities, adding to the rewarding and fun experience of all our learners. Pupils receive a full curriculum and extra-mural programme, with advanced technology employed in our classrooms and up to date facilities. Sport is a vital part of daily life at Westering Primary and we offer: swimming, rugby, hockey, netball, athletics, tennis and cricket.
