Westview is a parallel medium school and all academic subjects are taught in separate English or Afrikaans classes. In the technical classes subjects are taught in both languages, but the individual's language preference is maintained. All test and examination papers are set in English and Afrikaans and learners may complete them in the language he/she prefers.
