During Saturday’s (August 20) Castle Tri-Nations Match, 31000 litres of beer was consumed (excluding SAB’s Brutal Fruit drinks and Coca-Cola’s cooldrink products)
The stadium cost R2.4 billion to build and its annual operational costs is an estimated R21 million.
More than 35 events have been held at the stadium since it was built.
Approximately 800000 spectators (exluding Saturday’s game) have passed through the stadium.
