SARI’s in every colour and style graced the stage during the crowning of the very first Bollywood King & Queen and Mr & Miss Bollywood at a culturally glittering gala event hosted by RoleModels SA on Saturday, February 11, at the SS Aulayam Temple in Malabar.

The event was attended by several well-known personalities including the Metro’s Portfolio Councillor for Sports, Entertainment, Arts and Culture, Babalwa Labishe, Communications Director of the Metro, Roland Williams, as well as former mayor Nceba Faku, who was also celebrating his birthday.

BAY TV filmed the show and will be broadcasting it in the near future. The winners will be interviewed and featured on BAY TV.

The winners were Michael Levendal (Little Mr. Bollywood 2012), Azra Kaja (Teen Mis Bollywood 2012), Adrian Pillay (Bollywood King 2012), Taryn Frank (Bollywood Queen 2012) and Azraa Abdullah (Little Miss Bollywood)

The winners will be working to uplift the Northern Areas, specifically serving the Imfundu Pre-School Project of RoleModels Foundation in Malabar Ext 6. The project aims to build a pre-school and after-school homework centre for underprivileged children.
